Default Should I buy this is300?

Hello guys new here

I'm thinking about buying this car. I've always liked the is300. The color is nice too. I took it home for the weekend to see if I like it...and I love it. The valve cover gasket need to be replace and I hear like a clunking noise over bumps (intermittent). They are asking around $6k for it.

If I do buy it I will be removing the tints on the headlight and foglights.

I love my MR2 with 2GR swap motor. I just need a bigger car at this point in life.

Looks nice has the timing belt and water pump been changed? The clunking is probably the shocks?

Pics of your MR2 now.

Could the clunking be from those wheels hitting the fender...

From those pictures it doesnt look like the wheels would clear the fender from a big bump or something.

Anyway, like Justin2jz said, if the timing belt/water pump have been changed then thats not a bad pick up for $6000. Offer him $5500 :P

I'm thinking the clunking and creaking noise might be a bushing. I was going straight over bumps. You can hear it sometimes. The wheels is from a scion XB. And I actually can get it for $4500

The timing belt has not been done that I'm aware of. I should actually make sure and take the cover off tho haha. I was looking for a sticker on it.

The wheels just don't look right to me. They design is nice but the offset is probably way different than stock IS wheels.

$4500 is even better ! GL
