Hey all - I've been reading here recently and decided to join. Looks like a lot of knowledgeable folks.

I have a 2004 IS300 and I'm in the Tampa, FL area. Was wondering if there were others here that could point me to a decent shop for some long needed repairs. Apparently my shift solenoid is done for so I cannot manually shift for the time being. I've been quoted 350 on parts and 500 on labor at the dealership. Well that's one thing...

Second, if there ARE any cats around the area, I wanted to see about getting a hand on flashing my ECU (I would chip in for that). (If that's proper ettiquette...)

I'm mostly going to concentrate on the aesthetics soon and do just a little bit to the engine. I have a cold air intake atm which I like and will most likely go for a catback + silencer. Or at least the least loudest I can get. I want her to growl from the throat

Anyways, after my tint, wheels and paint job I'd love to show the before and after pics soon.
