TSIB Engine Knock On Cold Start
Hey guys, finally got my dream car (next to an IS F). 2006 IS 250 AWD fully loaded...
But one problem...after a month of owning her, i've got the engine knock at start up. I've researched it and read all about it and downloaded the TSIB 38 page long PDF about it. All I was reading were success stories on how the dealer fixed it for free...but mine has 96,000 miles...and the TSIB states it has to be under warranty (70,000 miles). Yes I can read and understand...but just wondering if there could be any possible way to get them to take care of it. I thought it was some sort of recall (new to Lexus, wasn't sure about TSIB).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!
