Default Catalytic converter Problems need some advice

Sooo a few months back I brought a 2002 is300 with 130k miles for an everyday driver only issue was a check engine light for a rear O2 sensor which is simple enough to change, long story short I changed the O2 sensor an the engine light stayed off for 300 miles then came back. This time the light was for code p 0430 which is the rear cat that has gone bad soooo i went ahead an changed out the whole piece but next day the light came back on for the same code rear catalytic converter bad,so my question is what esle do i change out to correct this issue?

easiest way, get a new megan y pipe and the token solutions plug and play 02 delete. had the same problem after changing 2 rear 02 sensors and replacing the y pipe w/a used low mileage one. Did both and 6 months later, no cel.........

Clear code one more time and drive again. Dont be too quick to change anything. The codes came back for me after replacing cat and O2s, cleared again, drove it and they are gone. Make sure you use quality parts also, good luck

100%

If either code comes back, with OE or the like, check for exhaust leaks.

Remove the bulb??? Please do not do that. The problem doesnt disappear that way and you solve nothing.

Didnt try to dog you. If you smiled, i would have not replied. Im a mechanic of 23 years and when I hear "pull the bulb" I cringe. Just didnt want people to think its a "real" option. No hard feelings..?..

see if your ecu is up to date, they remapped the catalyst parameters a few years ago but many people never got it done.
