Hello, I have a 2002 Lexus IS 300 and the other day I had a bad run in with a blown tire on the road and it ripped out the whole fender liner/splash shield (not sure what it's called) out of my passenger side wheel well. Anyways, I was looking to buy a replacement for said part, but it turns out that the 2002 fender liner is different from the 2001 & 2003-2005 year models. Everywhere I look for said part, they don't have it, and it says that it is a different part with the other year models. Can anyone help me with this? I really want to get this replaced as soon as I can. Would I still be able to use a fender liner from another year if I just do some small modding to it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or can someone at least tell me the difference in the fender liners??? Anything would help, I've tried searching like crazy & I've come up with nothing.

Although the liner part numbers for 01-05 are different, I've installed them from a 03 on a 01, or a 03 on a 05. They will fit, think the difference is very slight.

Ok, thank you very much Neosxe808. Being that you didn't install one on the 2002, do you think that would be much of a difference?

dont think it will make a difference, i swapped parts off a 01, 02, 03 and 04, didnt know the fender liners were different, the mount holes line up.,,,,,,,
