IS3hundo from TN...
So I don't post on here ever but thought I would share my build with fellow Lexus owners. It's been a long road getting to this point but after getting robbed by a local shop(that's now out of business)and finally finding a shop I could trust that would help me get to this point it's been a lot of fun. When I first bought my IS 6 years ago I said I wouldn't modify it because of past experiences but I got the bug 2 summers ago and it's been downhill since. It started with wheels, coilovers, and a grill.
Then I decided it was time to not only look fast but be fast( or relatively close to it for some)so I knew with higher mileage I had some issues to address like arp head studs, and there's a street pro kit for the 2jzge that replaces all gaskets from the mls headgasket to the mainseals, oil pan,cam seals etc. I also upgraded my fuel pump,550 injectors, mishimoto radiator, mishimoto trans cooler, toyomoto valve body upgrade,Precision intercooler,SRT turbo manifold,70mm T4 turbo,Haltech Sprint Platinum 500,Boomslang pnp harness,HKS Wastegate,Turbonetics BOV,HKS type 0 turbo timer and a couple of other random pieces to make my go fast experience fun and exciting.
She made 376hp,347 tq @ 11 psi .I threw in some pics with my stock wheels on there as well.I know the red Volks aren't for everyone but I love them and they're not painted that's the color they came so I like the rareness factor as well

I actually traded my HKS evc5 boostcontroller for it to yakuzaGS on here.He was asking 300 shipped and I was asking a little more than that but figured since my boost controller was sitting in a box in my bedroom it was doing me any good might as well go to someone who will use it.

Thanks and yes I do love the car. Turbo is fun but expensive.I blew the seals in the turbo I was using on sunday morning so I ordered a Precision 6266 billet today and it should be here in 2 days.If all goes well It'll be back on the road by monday or tuesday but this time with a bit more pep hopefully with a nicer turbo and turning up the boost to around 14 pounds.

Thanks man.Turbo arrived today but I missed FedEx so I'm going to pick it up and drop it by the shop. Also going to be turning up the boost a bit like I said so hopefully will hit over 400 this time.I'm looking foward to seeing it with this billet turbo to see how much faster it will spool up. I'm going to throw on my head lights while it's down this time as well and maybe get the front bumper resprayed.
