Default My second lexus, IS300 RED 2004

I got a week ago is not perfect, but for daily is perfect, is smoth, has 143k miles, is lowered on springs, all black leather and has navigation. AC is super cold, is like VW car's, I will be updating with more pictures while I start fixing it and give her a beauty treatment fro now enjoy the pics below.

For headligths I use 3M headligth restore kit, easy to use and can be done in less than 1 hour.

Needs some tlc but still a very good car to fix up. Lights came out real good for the condition they were in. The nav is definitely a plus.

Thanks for the compliments, I polished and wax it now looks really good.

THEDANE, on the springs I have no idea, the only think I can tell you is that they are blue, I can take a picture on the weekend I plane to sand the rims and paint them flat black, also I have some stance sv5 20x9 et 32 I will try to fit them on front to see how it would look like.

Here are more pics, I did last Sunday, on the two pictures you can see how bad the paint was, I use 3M polisher wax, with soft sponge. The pics don do justice now is shiny and smooth, For wax and more shine I use Meguiar's gold class carnuba plus.
Only problem I have now is p0037 engine code and the sticky dash board, i try to use thinner but it did not work, only suggest i found is take off dash board sanded and re paint it with flat paint for plastics.

After the 3M product most of light scratches almost disapear and next pics are after I used the paste was Meguiar's.

TheDane, yea it is rust, I had a big dent, i took out almost with hammer massaging the fender.

I try to fit the rim, they look good but they are to aggressive, car is to low for them, you can see in the pictures below, I think I will go with some R18 wheels in the future, also pic of the springs I could not see brand name also is very dirty, also paint the stock rims red with black have nice contrast.
But first 2 pics is the other baby, for now is waiting for the R154 tranny to much WHP I blew my w58 last December.

BoostdIS30 Regular autozone rim paint is called "VHT" wheel paint flat black, and from prep, I used sand paper from 80 grid on some parts and fine=400 clean them and pray them 2 coats. on the pics you can not see them but like 2 of them have deep curve scratches.. It took me around 3 to 4 hours because I also check suspension and brakes I fell vibration on the steering wheel when braking, I am thinking warp discs.

Not trying to copy you but they are clean and I will probably do the same thing and may use a gloss black instead of flat but I may change my mind and I'm guna end up painting it a m3 blue.

Did you take the tires off the wheels or did you just keep them on and taped or something like that?

Tires where on, I did not use tape because it had the tire shiny on them so tape would not stick on tires, also color is black so it matches the tire black very well also did the caps today.
