For models without nav, has anyone installed aftermarket nav in dashboard compartment
I was curious if anyone has ever installed an aftermarket navigation system in the dashboard compartment where the stock navigation system would normally be housed. My IS unfortunately did not come with navigation, but I have no use for the dashboard compartment as is. It seems reasonable to assume a custom system could be fitted into that spot. I have seen many people install aftermarket navigation systems in place of the head unit, but I would rather keep the factory radio. Let me know.
