Default Timing belt quick ?

Planning on doing my 02 is300's timing belt over the weekend .I have done various tbelts just never on an interference motor. I have heard of lexus wanting you to go 50deg. past tdc.But how do you precisely know what 50 deg after would be ? . Or can I just use a cam lock tool . Any advice is appreciated .

I've never done that. I've done all 2j, 7m, 1jj, tundras, tacomas timing belts the same exact way. Never had an issue. Set and tdc and slap the belt on.
