Default TRD Grille Peeling

Hey guys. Wanted to see if I could get some help on an aftermarket part on my IS.

My TRD grille is really starting to peel after 3-4 years on car. I no longer garage it and suspect it to be the case.

Any way to fix this? I did a search earlier and it sounds like I need clear coat. Any suggestions?

Personally I would try one of those 3m headlight restro kits on it. I would do everything as you would to a headlight, then if it seems a layer of clearcoat won't go on do to it being to slippery slightly scuff it with the highest grit in the kit and clear it from there. I have not painted carbon fiber using this method but it has worked on other things I have painted on other cars.

I've had almost every IS owner that I have met make the same offer

Thanks but I'll probably keep it. Just looking for advice on clearing it, etc...and see if anyone had any. I've never cleared anything before and just wondering if I need to prep it (with sandpaper) or if I could just add another coat. Any advice would be much appreciated.
