Default Transmission help

Hey guys, I'm new here and recently purchased an 2001 is300 automatic. Sadly, just crashed it recently, but it was only the front end. Problem I have is that , I can't put my car in park anymore. My engine got pushed back and it's kind of tilting up very slightly. I was wondering if I remove the front end, ie.. Radiator, bumper, headlights, etc. do you think the tranny would line back up and I'll be able to save the tranny. Or it's probably more serious? I hit a tree square in the middle so everything on the side is still good. Headlights, fenders, etc. planning to pull the front end off this weekend, any advice will be appreciated. Might just end up selling it if the tranny is bad. Only had the car for a month

In the below listed link you will find a catalogue which gives factory structural measurments that will tell you if your car is within spec or not. My guess is you probably offset the mounting points for both your engine and transmission. If that's the case then more than likely you might of also caused some damage to your tranny but who knows. If I were you my first step would be to check if your cars structure and mounting points are within spec. If your tranny is damaged then should be able to pick one up with around 60K miles for about 400 bucks. Your biggest problem is going to be pulling your cars structure back into place. Good news is you can find a new front end for fairly cheap. Try google searching 'just IS300 parts' and you should be able to pick up most of your parts there. Or try the member for sale threads on here and my.is and you should be able to pick up some good deals. Hope everything works out for you man:

Thanks for all the information. Not too mechanically inclined so hopefully have it in the shop soon. Hope the trans is still good. Car still starts and I can drive it but shifter is not aligned correctly. Praying repairs come under 3000. But really appreciate the help
