Should I Buy? '02 IS300 135000 Miles for $8k
Should I buy this car for $8000 (CDN)? This is the only IS300 available for sale within my area.
Craigslist Ad http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pm...168778981.html
I asked him some questions via email and this was his response:
"had car since 2008 since 55km could use new front shocks I replaced once already with adjustables but have like 65km on them now no mechanical concerns
fluids changed on time regualryl at mr lube or at dealers or at shop of a friend of mine
91 octane gas always oil change regularly every 5km tranny fluid diff and rad change on time along with brake fluid air filters every 10-15km depending on how dirty
could use some new fluid changes again but since im selling ar I don’t want to throw the money at it when not absolutely necessary
when I sell it friend owes me a cut polish so the car will be good as it gets after polishing car was detailed a couple months back needs a clean up again quickly
good car for 10 years old"
My main need in car right now is reliability. It has to be very reliable since I'm a broke-*** student with zero income. I read that IS300 is very reliable and goes long miles but can you guys confirm this with comparison to the condition of this car?
Should I buy this for $8000 or request a better deal or wait for another IS300?
Or should I buy a different model car in this price range?
I need some advice.
Thanks!
