Default suede interior swap

Looking to swap out my cloth headliner, pillars etc i thought it would be a great idea to disconnect my SRS airbags lol but don't know how i would go about doing so.. Would love for some help or ideas on this topic.

Unplug the airbag harness .

Air bag harness is behind the glovebox, it's a plug with a yellow bracket be careful with it unhook battery and unplug it so nothing happens

I'm gonna delete my airbags during next build. Put my ECU in the dash location and run a pillar pod

Thanks for the feedback greatly appreciated. Was also wondering if anyone has this done to there is or pictures of a finished product. I cannot find pictures. Havent done too much browsing but so far turned up nothing.

everything cloth in my interior i'm converting to suede except my seats unfortunately ;( maybe in the near future a lot has to come before that. But the biggest part of my question was the airbags but i got answered that thanks dudes. Also just wanted to see if anyone has or had done this to there IS.

thanks for all the good feedback again haven't been on this forum for long and i like the environment just gotta get my self to seller status so i can move my volks!

Yea wrapping the parts really isnt that hard. One tip when you do it, Do not pull the material. Lay it down because if you have any tension it will come up later. I did all pillars, sunroof, and headliner

Yea if I would do it again I would do it all grey because the black is DARK inside. So dark I'm going to lighter tint.

That looks good. Was there a DIY guide you used? The one I saw on my.is had dead links for all the pics.
