Default Replaced battery, no power at all

I replaced my battery on my 2002 IS300 and now I have no power what so ever. The new battery has power because I checked it with a voltmeter as well as the fuses. I go to turn on the car, no dashboard lights, no crank, no nothing.

Any ideas of what could be wrong? Could it be the altenator?

Thanks for the help

Try cleaning and re-checking the battery connections.. The alternator probably wouldn't cause your issue.

That would be pretty embarrassing since I am an electrician. I checked polarity and all the fuses. I have no power to the fuse link. Maybe that's my problem.
