AEM standalone???

Question just got my IS turbo but I notice it idles under 1000 on first gear when I tap gas sometimes it will just cut off??? I have to apply a good amount of gas to take off of first gear is this normal because I have a standalone and can this be fixed?

get a Idle Air Controller. Dezod used to sell a honda unit that you can just plumb in and wire up to the AEM. search on my.is
