Default Will 17x7.5+45 fit the front?

I am looking for a really cheap set of wheels so I dont need to swap my snows and all seasons.
I found a cheap set that are 17x7.5 =45 and by the calculators I saw on another forum should fit, but some people in random google searches mentioned not clearing the front brakes?

Any truth to this?

By the calcs I did it should pull them like 12 mm out towards the fenders more and add about 2mm on the back end from stock wheels.

Am I doing this right? will that extra 2mm on the backend cause problems or anything else I should take into consideration?

Get them if you like them. If they do give you problems just get some cheap 5mm spacers from autozone and you'll be fine.

Be careful with those spacers...if you don't have extended studs, they can be very dangerous in the street...I heard stories of wheels flying off...I prefer the ones you bolt in...

If its 5mm you can pull it off but anymore and you will need extensions

I dont want to do spacers at all to be honest.
Any issues that could arise from the brake caliper clearance?

clearing the brakes is determined by the design of the spokes on the wheels not offset.

i would say these should fit without issue.

OK wheels fit fine. The offset comes pretty flush up front, still a tad sunk in the back.
The wheel style I went with makes the wheels look smaller so I gotta drop it big time now.
Here are some old vs new pics

Glad it worked. Looks like you have bigger tires on the new wheels.

You definitely need that drop.

It may look like it, but its the same exact tires. I pulled them off the stockers and put on here so I could keep the blizzaks on the Stockers. They scratched my rattle can job up on the stockers anyway so gave me another excuse to throw something a little more stylish with better finish on there.
Stockers were rashed so the paint kinda hid the rash.

I agree though. Drop will deff set it off a little more. I wanted something with a little lip polish, but that lip makes the wheel face look smaller. Its a catch 22
