Long story short, I was the high bidder on the car at a dealer auction. Even though I was the high bidder, the bank rejected my bid because it was too low for their liking... I bid on the car without even physically looking at it. The description mentioned the engine was apart but I didn't care because I have a couple spares, there are also some interior pieces missing and parts of the engine (injectors, harnesses, etc. are in the back seat and who knows what is in the trunk because I couldn't get into it).

So later today I finally find where the car is physically located at the auction and it looks as if there was a turbo in the car, with a fair amount of work done to the motor, even though half the motor was gone, it looked like a pretty serious setup at one point.

It's a small world and I would love to just get some background history on the car. I'll probably bid on it again next week. More than likely it was a repo and more than likely it belonged to someone located in GA / SouthEast. Cloth / tan interior, automatic, radio missing, and the drivers side fender was damaged at one point and in the process of being repaired. There is also a "tokensolutions" sticker on each of the back doors.

Run the vin on carfax, see where it was last registered. You can also register the VIN on the Lexus Driver website to see the maintenace history, maybe that will pin point the area. You can search for a local forum and see if you find anything or look on my.is

dont know anybody who had this car. what makes you think it was a turbo car and engine work done?
