The post was accurate. It was implying multiple 20 inch rims.

^^^ yea 20's would suck. I always think they look like **** on the is300 but the one above wasnt horrible. Hes probly selling it because he hates driving it. I already loose alot of power with my shiny 19's. This is why I am looking for a set of is250 wheels.

So big wheels are ghetto. WOW. When i bought these wheels they where being marketed for small cars. They had a set on a mini cooper. That was the point of having these rims. The first 20s for a small car.

I don't want to argue with you guys. I respect your opinions . It was just a question if they fit or not. To honest with you i like the car how it comes from the factory it sits low it has nice wheels on it already. The GS and the IS are my favorite cars from lexus. These two cars are what made me a fan of the lexus brand. Thats something we all have in common if nothing else.

Just because someone makes a Mini-cooper into a Donk doesnt mean everyone else should follow in line.

At the end of the day its your car do what make YOU happy not everyone else but at the same time if you do it and you post pics understand criticism is just part of the territory when it comes to things like this and your going to get alot of negatives. If you can brush them off and roll on then screw it put em on and roll deep

Na man your just hearing us throw opinions out there. You may agree after taking a step back and looking at your car or taking your first bump in it. If you make it work and it looks good two thumbs up.

and about the mini cooper... Have you seen the wheel wells on those cars? bigger than the IS300 for sure

I put the cleanest widest 20s on my car I could find(look at my pics) and it was still just full of epic fail.

in all seriousness, we're just busting your chops. you may have bought these wheels sometime ago maybe when bigger wheels where all the craze. today these type of wheels are generally seen more on big body cars, dub style car or dunks. the IS is different from those type of cars and even different from other Lexus cars in that its considered a sporty sedan like the BMW 3 series, G35s, Audi A4s etc. being that the IS also has the 2J motor a lot of people follow the sporty styles of the Toyota Supra. and with todays style being more about being sporty and low i see more people running 17s and 18s over 19s and 20s. that being said 20s on a IS is not the norm but it can fit. its up to you if you want to go there.

if youre looking for pics, theres a whole thread on 19s and 20s with the usual banter

i say it depends on the look you want for your car
20X7.5 will fit with not problem i have done that on my girls car, however if you plan to lower your IS be prepaired for some rubbing in the front.

I am currently running 20X8 front and 20X10 rear with 245 30 20s

it looks and rides good but im also not building a race car

but i did have to do some cutting and tucking

so if your up to a challenge go for it
if your not up to spending the time or money to do it right
i say dont waste your time

this is just my opinion

I have no plans on lowering it. I think the car sits low enough
