Is 200 1999 model 225 000 kilometers already,we installed another engine,The crank turns well,the timing is on the mark,the dignosis machine detects no fault on the car,the red immobiliser light on the dash does go off when starting,the cylider head does suck air inside through the throttle body,the cylidner head was redone as a suspect but still nothing happens.The engine just turn ,sounding like it will pick up but never does,The pick up sensor from the pulley was changed also,there is spark on the coil plugs there is also power supply to the injectors.The car simply won't start.We tried unplugging sensors to check if the ECU works it does pick the unplugged sensors and report fault.When we take them back it reports clear of faults.Where else really can we check? maybe we are missing something :we simply ran out of ideas please help the car has been standing for more than a year now

make sure its getting fuel? bad fuel pump, no gas in lines?

i was thinking about the same thing... fuel pump might be your problem.. u have checked everything but that...

thanks to be honest we never checked the fuel pump.I will check if we win I will keep you posted.Someone suggested we take the ECU out and test it separately it might be malfunctioning on certain items.I will aslo check and see if we cant win.Once more thanks
