Default Help with remote/Key

Hey guys had a question hope i can get some help.... The battery in my key die today... was wondering if i can just pop it open and replace it? or do i need to do anything else....

I had my spare key just in case, but I just replaced the battery and test it out on my car....no problems. 02 IS300

haha i just took mine apart to see if it was that easy and it is.

remove the screw on the back of the key.

carefully pull apart the front and back side of the key.

pull out the buttons and module out of the middle.

unscrew the two screws on the back of the module

replace the CR1616 battery with another

anytime oh yeah you will need a tiny phillips head screwdriver haha
