Got a question about the short shifter.
Is it normal to whine after install?
Previous owner say so, but my mechanic say is not and could be either the T.O Bearing or output shaft for tranny.

Yes, it is normal. Your mechanic is doesn't know what he is talking about. An OEM shifter shouldn't whine, but most aftermarket short shifters don't have the sound dampening required to stop/reduce tranny whine. The only IS300 short shifter (for the W55 trans) that significantly reduced whine is the Karl-Sport (limited run and discontinued).
**However**
If you get a slight chirping noise with the car in neutral, and it disappears when you push down on the clutch pedal, that's another issue. IIRC, Lexus made a redesigned slave cylinder to stop the chirping.

All the settings where incorrect.
Now more bad news.
Valve cover gasket leaking , big time, need to change the spark plugs wires.(((
