Default JoeZ Intake or AEM Cold Air Intake?

I am looking into getting a JoeZ intake or a AEM intake. Now I cant make up my mind so I need some help. I dont want to much sound but a smooth suction. If anyone has a JoeZ intake or AEM can you give me some feed back?

I can give you feedback without having either. lol. Id go JoeZ. Just seems classier. I think AEM and the likes...youre just wasting money. To me (personal opinion here), the AEM stuff, Injen or whatever is so played out. Power gains are minimal. The AEM might look kinda cool (if youre into that) but unless the rest of your engine bay is spotless and you love showing it off...theres no real point. Id honestly just suggest a drop in filter like K&N for similar gains, good sucking sound (lol) and nice, classy, stock look.
Post pics when youre done regardless of what you decide on!!!

I'd stick with the JoeZ. Even if you want looks you can get the JoeZ polished.
JoeZ plus a good high flow are filter would give you better gains then say an AEM even @ a cheaper price

yeah, the joeZ intake pipe with the factory air box looks like the car came that way... you can definately hear more of the intake... power gains with both are minimal.. the factory air box isn't as restrictive as most people make it out to be... the intake pipe without the resonator definately make a noticable audible difference...

Thanks people I was leaning more towards the JoeZ myself cause the AEM looks to youngish.

Justin727,

I only found the balck JoeZ intake from L-tuned. Where can I get the polished JoeZ intake?

When you purchase it you have to include in the comments that you want it to come polished.

JoeZ + Blitz dry filter, and call it a day. I have an SRT, and I didn't notice any significant gains. Even the dyno sheets only show a difference of 5HP. I got mine used for about $250 shipped, so I'm OK with it...and it does look good haha.

would you say the JoeZ would yield similar gains as the SRT? i've been debating if its even worth for me to get just an intake + filter. i have currently have no other power mods.

Yes, you'll get similar gains from both. SRT will be slightly higher, but you won't notice it over JoeZ. The biggest differences will be sound, and it will look nice when you pop your hood...assuming your engine bay is clean. If I bought mine new for $600 or whatever they go for, I would be really pissed. As I've said before, I wonder if people would notice the same gains if they were wearing ear plugs.

I wouldn't buy an SRT "new". I'd spend that coin on some BC stage 2 cams and a pretty cam gear lol

You can't go wrong with a joeZ + blitz filter.

Thanks people I am going to get a JoeZ for sure now. I may get a K&N air filter instead of the blitz. If anyone has a JoeZ intake can you post a picture please?

Thanks Again
