Default its a retarded neub question

OK well i finally had some time to really look an clean some stuff on my IS an i took the windflector off cause i didn't like it an i was looking at my sun roof an there's like hard water spots any one know how to get those out i looked it up an i saw a few vinegar an water an well that didn't work another one said something about a metal solvent an i was like im not gonna do that if anyone could help i would appreciate it cause when i get in the car an see the spots it eerks me heres a pic but don't know if you can see it in it



an while i was cleaning stuff i did some touch up cleaning on the engine

Have you checked to make sure it's not on the inside?

I bought a new Tundra and it has hard water stains from the dealers sprinkler system over half the truck. I used this stuff (acid) aluminum tractor trailer cleaner and they wiped right off. Compound wouldn't touch them.

Whatd you use on the motor? That bitty is clean. I just got my bay detailed. Cost me $50.

i have some hard water spots on my OEM 17s. Would these options work on that as well?

the motor was mostly cleaned by the dealer when i got the car but i got one of the Hispanic guys that blows the leaves where i live to blow it off an the rest was just takin a towel an gettin the gunk an dust off that they missed in the past i used to steal this degreaser from work undiluted an it worked fine

+1 with the compound wax. You may want to try the plastic headlight cleaner "meguiars" as well.....

I have never been able to remove hard water stains with compound, wax or even claybar..... I heard CLR works too....

You and me both!

Must be our water.. I've always used DP's water spot remover paired with my DA and pads. Always worked for me
