Default Time for a change....

Well looks like it's time for a change in my family I bought this car new back in 01, and at the time leased it, however, at the end of the 3year lease I only had 17k on it, so I decided to buy it out. At the time my mother needed a new car so I gave her this one, and now, well into her 60's, she is looking for a RX as they are a little easier for her to get in and out of. So it looks like it is time for me to get rid of my baby. Here are the stats, I have, as said, owned it since new, NEVER had ANY paint work, not even touch-up work done. It has all the options available in 01. NEVER driven in snow, Though I did buy her snow tires and wheels which are currently on the car in case she ever got "caught out" in snowy weather. It has ALWAYS been garaged kept, and there are no dents or dings. The mileage is only 48K. I just replaced the rear brakes and rotors, and have all service records on the vehicle, oil has always been changed with synthetic at 3k intervals. The color is "Solar Yellow". I have checked KBB on the car, and looked for any for sale on Auto trader, and the prices vary widely. Any of you guys have any idea what it's worth? It's not an "I have to sell" situation, it's more it will make "Mom happy" deal to have a new car. I have been BLESSED with some of the best parents a person could ask for, and taking care of them is the least I can do!Some pics are attached, let me know what you guys think.

Thanks It was really just a fun car for me to have and enjoy, but then wife, and family started to take priority over car fun. Funny how life works out, but as I said I have been truly blessed!

Wow low mileage for sure. there are 2 options I can see right off the bat that it doesn't have, though; wood switchplates and leather seat piping.

I have the factory wheels and tires, just put these on in case mom is out somewhere and it snows.

Do think I should do eBay, auto trader or local listings to sell it?

Try craigslist too, but most of the people there try to hustle (like me )
And a lot of lowlife scum that try to lowball like crazy!!!
But sometimes you'll get lucky and can make a quick sale to someone who can appreciate what you have..
Just make sure you highlight the fact that it has such very low miles.
Oh and if I were you, I would swap on 2 stock wheels on one side and take a couple pics.. Shouldn't take more than a half hour...
It looks better with stock rims and people would appreciate the fact that it comes with stock rims and winter rims and be willing to pay more....
I would say you can probably get like $11k - $13k

The more descriptive your ad is + the more pictures you have - the faster it will sell..
If you want it to sell extra quick, make a couple videos and put them on youtube and include links to view the videos in your ads.
- video tour of the interior showing all electronics work, windows, sunroof, radio, etc...
- video of the car starting up and running showing instrument panel with no warning lights & showing mileage..
- video walk around tour of the whole exterior
etc....

Every time I include lots of pictures ( & VIDEOS ) I sell cars quicker!! It makes sense...
If you want to be lazy and not put a little time into it, you will sit on your car longer and people won't appreciate what you have.
If you want to sell the car for 6k then yeah don't worry about pictures and stuff.. But if you want more money you're gonna have to work for it.

Very clean car, if you were in Australia that would go for $25k+!
