Not saying you because you fixed your issue. But I'm always amazed how people actually forget to service their power steering pumps. Not too terribly hard to do either.

yeah, a lot of ppl forget it and the dealer/manual/toyota sometimes doesn't make much mention about it either. I want to say I've heard ppl advised it was a lifetime fluid.

For the IS it's way easy. Just need some vinyl tubing/hose, 2 quarts dexron III auto tranny fluid and a turkey baster. And a means to jack up the front of the car (jackstands for safety!) I just did mine again the weekend before last.

Hiroshima over on my.is posted a very good tutorial with pictures.

Oh I know its sad some people just spout things out like that. Hell I've even seen a manual say some transmissions have fluid that'll last a lifetime

Power steering services are usually out of sight out of mind until the pump or rack lets you know its unhappy.

Ok, Just went to get my oil changed & asked for a power steering flush as well. when I went back to grab the car, the say that the fluid is foaming up, which means theres a leak in there somewhere (Great!) AND SUGGESTED I TAKE IT TO THE LOCAL TOYOTA DEALERSHIP!

I feel i need to explain. First in Rapid City, SD There are no Lexus Dealerships, second
everytime I have ever gone to the dealership for service, its been Impossibly expensive.

Do you have any solutions you can think of?? Thanks a Million!

Tell ya what. Take off the undercover. Grab a fairly large piece of card board. Slide card board under front of car. Run car until its warm. Turn car off and let it sit for a few minutes to an hour. Look to see if there is anything leaking on the car board.
If there is try to trace where the leak is. Not a hard job to do at all.
But if you're not a diy'r just take it to a toyota dealership and they can handle it from there

Foaming up can also mean they let the resevoir go dry when they were flushing it and air got into the system. Do what Justin said and if there's no leak the next step would be to get the air out of the system. The DIY posted on my.is http://my.is/forums/f221/power-steer...s-pics-256159/
says;

Step 1: Jack up Front of car.
Step 2: Turn wheel from left to right slowly 3 times with engine off.
Step 3: Lower Car
Step 4: Start car. Turn wheel slowly from lock to lock 3 times. Hold wheel at each end of lock for 2-3 seconds and then turn the other direction.
Step 5: Let idle for 2-3 minutes. Stop car. If you still have bubbles, go back to step 2. Bleeding the system should take note more than 3 rounds of this.
