That would be a solution but over time the ecu will learn the adjustments made and correct them. Meaning it would be a waste of time and money to even go that route.

Actually, I do have a serious question if anyone is kind enough to help me out: I am new to the the IS scene and am looking to mod mine W/OUT the use of turbo. How much HP am I looking to gain? Keep in mind that I do NOT want to mess with the internals physically, so no cam swaps or balancing, no rods/pistons. Headers, intake, exhaust etc.... Also, keep in mind, I have knowledge of how these things are done, recently lost my 87 turbo Z (475HP to the rear wheels) to some kid in his DADDYs' volkswagen (creamed me in the rear @50MPH as he came off the exit while I was sitting there at a stop).
All in all, I would like to know what parts I'm buying and how much I'm looking to spend. Looking for Naturally aspirated HP.
