Looking to get an is300.
Why are these cars so hard to find in manual transmission?!
Is 10k for a 120-130k is300 in manual too high an asking price? Should I just wait it out and find one at a better price?
Ebay does have some, but what is the reliability of buying cars through ebay?
Also how are these cars reliability wise, does the car still have alot of life left at 130k miles? Will it each up to 300k easy?
Thanks guys

~12% of IS300s produced are manual, so they are rare.
$10K appears to be a higher than average price. Autos with that many miles are ~$9K and less on craigslist
Nothing wrong with Ebay, however, I do prefer a local sale; within ~150 miles or so.. And, 5 speed SC300s (same engine minus the VVTI) have gone up to 250K+ no problem with regular maintenance

When it comes to IS300's, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some guys advertise as clean and they really think it is in their mind, but it's a total wreck. I think in the end the more you pay, the nicer car you get.... so if you really WANT a nice IS300, pay for it.
