Where can I buy STRONG replacement keys?
All,
I bought my IS new and the key lasted 90k with lots of abuse. When it broke apart the replacement from the dealer lasted 3 weeks. The new ones for my LX lasted 2 weeks!
Where can I get a good strong key? These new one must have been made with cheaper plastic.
I have all the guts and the actual key, I just need the body.
Any ideas or links?

. its like 20 bucks and 40 bucks to get it cut and all you needa do is transfer your old transponent over to the new key

your having a terrible time with keys lol! yes, they should be able to cut the new key from the valet key because the blades should be the same. If they cannot most locksmiths can cut the key based off the VIN number. The locksmith I went to to have mine cut can do it both ways off the old key or the VIN.
