Default Need New springs, but not on your ordinary setup

225-35-ZR19. <--- Thats the back wheel dimensions. Now I am rubbing and planning on rolling the fenders. But I also want/need new springs. What do you guys recommend and have seen work on other Is300's with these dimensions? Thanks

I have stock springs, I want springs that will lower the car about an inch & a half & just needed some opinions on what set of springs will work on 19 inch wheels. Meaning the height of -1.5 & not have to worry about rubbing again.

Yeah that is really weird that you are rubbing on stock ride height.

The Tanabe NF210 gives you a 1.5" drop in front and 1.0" drop in the rear.

You are just going to have to roll your fenders and maybe stretch some tire to fit those 19s you want to put on.

I have looked at those Tanabe's before and I have now come to the conclusion to decide on those. My fenders are rolled right now & the 19's dont rub anymore. So I'll try these springs.

i think ur takin me the wrong way, im tryin to help, cause if ur rubbing on stock suspension then u must have the wrong fitment on your wheels or tires. thats why im askin what the rim dimensions are.

I understand and appreciate the help. I do not know what my rim demnsions are except for what I posted has the 225-35-19. I dont know the offset.

But for the rubbing, the tire was rubbing on the inside fender. If you feel the inside of the fender there is about an inch or so that goes into the wheel well. We cut/shaved that off and the rubbing is now gone.

I hope that explanation was clear and you can follow. Lol.

But another reason I believe that the stock suspension was making the car rub is cause the car is 8 years old and nothing has been done toward the suspension. Which means 8 year old springs that can be soft and makes the car roll, which then makes the wheel touch the fender. Because of this thought I am now looking into springs that stiffen my suspension plus lowers the car for a better look that is needed for my baby. =)

yea i understand, im just really suprised cause as i said im lowered 2" with 225-35-19 tires (45 offset wheels, which urs must be more agressive) and i have not shaved or rolled at all. did it only rub like over really big bumps etc? or all the time?

It would rub coming off my driveway, hitting small bumps at high speeds and almost every turn if i had 4 people including me.

Sweet. I'm glad you were able to fix the problem so easily. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics once you get them installed.
