Default Any interest in IS300 headers? $399-499 range??

Hello,

Some of you already know me for the SC400 headers that i have been offering, to most of you i am the new guy. IMF is a new company a little over a year old, hopefully with your help we can grow and offer more products to the Lexus community.

I am planning to offer new products to Lexus models and i wanted to check interest before i start investing my time and money into any specific products. I wanted to see if there is any interest to a new set of headers for the IS300.

Of course the headers will be made out of high grade 304 stainless steel, be a direct bolt on that wont require any modifications and most importantly will improve performance.

I already have excess to existing headers which i can offer or if you would like something new that can be made as well. It all depends on how much interest i see.

Please post here or PM you if you are seriously interest in headers for the IS300. I can have these made within a couple of months and start selling in no time.

Retail price would be between $399-499.

Let me know,

Chase

I would be interested. Just please make sure the o2 sensor holes are in the correct places. Nearly all the headers for the is300 has one sensor hole (nearest to the firewall) in the wrong spot.

Looking at existing headers and the IS's setup it will have to be similar design to what is already available. Something that will bolt on to the stock downpipe. The main difference is that i can make a much better collector, that is where you would notice performance difference. A downpipe would also be in the works.

If you can fabricate one that has good fitment and doesnt't get so close to electrical components like the Megan I'm for it.

I would be interested but would you give us some detail of how will the fitment be? Long or short headers? I am in the market for headers.

i would agree with most everyone else, the kicker for interest is going to be if they are shortys or not, long runners are available all over the place but finding short runners is a pain, i got lucky and found some obx short runners brand new in the box but aside from generic i dont know of any other brand that makes the shortys

I also agree with almost everyone else... short runners would be a nice addition to the only other competitor (OBX), especially if it proves to be a better performing piece.

But I'll be honest with you... I have found a supplier for OBX short runners and my plans are to buy the headers/y-pipe early next year for a total of $250! now that's 2 pieces for less than the price of your headers (I'm only getting them to get rid of the cats for my boost project). Now, I know some people will still pay up if there is solid HP gains results from dyno runs to back it up just like they did for the Mazzuri headers, though I can't help but question the success of it when you enter the market at such a high price point on a dated car.... just my 2 cents.

p.s. everyone is always interested ; try other IS300 forums to build a better customer base, though you're probably going to have to pay vendor fees there as well; gaining interest should not be an issue though. Best of luck nonetheless
