What your favorite part on an IS300? (eye candy)
Based strictly on visual appeal, what are your favorite areas of the IS300 that make you really love the car? Those few parts that you are thankful Lexus took the time to design the way they did.
(1st) for me is the speedo cluster. I love clocks and the time/chrono design is classy, eye catching, and unique. It's my favorite part of the IS300.
(2nd) for me is the front end "profile". I love the way the headlights look blacked out with chrome rings and how they integrate into the front end grill design. All together the front profile is just excellent.

i agree. i love that cluster in the panel. makes it look like a big rolex as part of the tachometer and odometer and all that. but nowadays people are too lazy to read an actual analog clock, and it might even me a hazard to look for it while you drive. but i still prefer it!

I too like the cluster.
But for me it was the rear end look. When I saw it back in 1997, when they first debuted it at the Japan Auto Show. The Altezza tails, were the flagship of all Altezza style tails for all makes and models.

LOL..you are always posting pics man! Right on! So, I will too! =)
Def agree with you on the clusters! I also love the yellow fogs and how it sits wider than the headlights. It will always have that distinct look from other cars with yellow fogs, ya know!
I'm such a wagon lover, the Sportx just looks sexy overall too me. I love the way it was designed.

+2 on olt's post, I also am a big fan of the fog lights, and just how "compact "the IS300 is, that is is not to big. I also really like the small spoiler on the rear, it just looks right.

There is one more thing I like, but in 4 years and two IS300's I have only gotten to use it one time...... the fold down armrest in the back is extra soft and comfortable to lean on if you get in the back for a ride. That's happened....... once.

I do like the 04-05 fan style washer squiters and memory seat option.
Even though I dont have an 02+, I do like the armrest for the driver and the full leather option seats vs the leather/Alcantera(sp?) seats. What a PITA to keep clean
