Default Is300 offset question

Im looking to purchase 18x8 33 and 18x9 36 wheels for my first gen is300 and i was wondering if these are going to be way to low. Ive prefitted 18x8/9 37 offset and that looked perfect. But it wasnt the wheel i wanted, so therefore im looking at these 18x8 33 and 18x9 36 weds. I do know that i will have to roll, or shave inner fenders and adjust my suspension. I guess my question is how much lower is 33 offset from 37offset? any help will be considered. Thanks fellas.

just measure a 4mm distance from the previous mark heading outward
when you prefitted the 18x8 in the front was it with standard tires?
if it was perfect with the proper tire size go one or even 2 grades lower
so the tire will stretch and this should prevent you from having to do
any major mods like shaving your fenders...but it is advise that you atleast
roll the lip of the fenders to protect your tire sidewall.

I have my car dropped and so i stuck with 17
and right now i have plans on fitting 17x8 35 in the front and 17x9 25 in the rear
with 205/45/17 in the front and 215/45/17 in the rear

let me know if you have anymore questions

inner fenders shouldnt need a roll, u might want to push up the plastic inner liner on the fronts, and the rear doesnt need to be shaved that much either, it all depends on tire size also

I have a 18x8 +32 with a 215/35/18 in the front and it looks good to me. Plus, it also depends on how low your car is.

You will be fine depending on your ride height but will want to roll rear prob if you're going for a decent drop. I'm running 18x8, 18x9 +35 with 215/235. I shaved rear fenders and pulled front and rear slightly (planning on going wider) but I'm also tucking front and rear so...

Offset is too high. You will need to use spacers to use the IS300 rims on the LS400.
