I was searching for a car with four doors with our 1st child on the way. The 2 door Integra was not going to cut it. I found my 2002 IS300 for a great price and fell in love with it on my initial test drive.
I have to do the 90,000 mile service, but that's not a big deal at the price I got it for.
There's a shop here in Fort Worth that specializes in Lexus cars. I plan to let them do the timing belt service ($950, @ Lexustech) and I can do everything else, thanks to all the great info on this site.

Thanks.
I paid $7200, downside is here the county determines the values and taxes you accordingly.
Next thing that I will do is some 19" rims, paint the calipers and some new springs. Maybe some darker tint, alarm, and sound system upgrade.
I have already added a Grom Ipod adapter that works great.
