I didn't want blue/red/black/gold since I have tried or don't want to try some. I have been through like 4-5 gold wheels and a few black/gunmetal. Blue is too dark and looks like black. I don't want to do light blue. Red was played out just like gold. I was thinking white or that Takata green on the te37's to make it look more of a track car maybe. Its only temporarily since I just sold my wheels and I have a few sets setting at home and I want to try to make it look different for a bit haha..

I think it kinda depends on what style the wheel is. You could do orange like PhillyB (I wanted to do concave Orange TE37's before he did his CR Kai's) or some kind of candy purple? Or pink haha.
Or this...
or this...
EDIT: this has nothing to do with the thread, but i just noticed my friends '08 STi is on hella flush's front page. pretty sick.

I think white might be cool as it would match the body color and if you still want or was thinking green or what not then paint your calipers if not done already or a different color decal on the calipers

That picture was before I swapped to shorter springs on my coilovers. These pics are with it lowered but before I got my alignment. Camber was at -3.5* in the back and my toe was at almost 1.0* on each side also. The rear fitment looks better now.

To the orignal OP, I would go with the white wheels, I stilll think white/white is a good look, you used to see it alot in the early 2000's, but it is not common now. I know you are trying to be different, but your IS300 is a luxury sport sedan, not a honda civic. So takata green wheels just dosn't feel right( unless put on for a HIN type show, but switch when the show is over) I know it is your car and you do what you like, but to me the IS300 is a higher class of car, and with proper mods like the one above with the gold SSR's, would not look out of place anywhere, including sitting outside a fancy resturant parked next to brand new Mercedes's and BMW's, just something to think about.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't still run it like that though if I had to.... very nice.

This is the only thing that bugs me. I'm very old school and don't get into the stretched tire and big offsets so I'm actually willing to go with a less wide wheel to much protrusion past the fender line. (on bottom as well, so very little camber)

My rear tire isn't actually stretched much at all. The front is more than the rear that's for sure.
And I'm not sure what you mean by "big offsets", but higher offsets are better on the IS. The lower the offset, the closer to the fender the wheel will be.
You can go the same widths, or wider, and be under the fenders with the right offset. It's a combination of width and offset that determines where the wheel sits. I could have gone with a 9 +49 in the rear and done no fender mods. But that wasn't the look I was going for.
