Default My first Mod

so I ordered 8k D2R's from my a close friend and I received the wrong ones (10k) 2 days later he called me and told me to meet up with him to exchange my lights for the correct ones so i was and decided to put it on a share the first mod with you guys tell me what you think so far

OMG someone save the car ..... it's being attacked by grass!




New headlights are always a plus.

lol............thats my next thing i'ma get new headlight those are aready old and foggy specially the passenger side even the grass is suffering from the recesion...............lol

I don't think they'd hold up for ten years or anything, but I think the ebay special blacked out headlights look pretty decent if you get the right one and for $250-275... well worth it IMO even if they only last few yrs. Dunno, I did mine the hard way in the DIY up there ^^^^.

You should try restoring your headlights before getting new ones. Here's a pic from when I did my fogs.

my friend and i attempted to restore and it made it worse haha but its all good they were old anyways time for a fresh new start!

yeah a lot of them dont have HIDs or auto leveling , i think ill get some new ones and paint them gunmetal like sport design headlights

Did you wet sand it nice and smooth with some 2000 grit, and then polish out the haze with some rubbing compound and a buffer? At the time, all I had was a cheap Craftsman orbital buffer, and it did the trick.

we did not buff it i think thats it we just did it by hand but he did the inside of the lenses too and my headlight leaks because we didnt seal it right after painting the housings so it s really hazy lookin g
