LXOGOOD,Just some small info. I talked with one of the head mechanics (Ed) at Van Nuys lexus and he has installed both the SRT and Area 51 supercharger. One of them being.........you guessed it ,OCIS. His opinon was that the SRT had a cleaner set up, in terms of not having to drill into the oil pan and moving the ABS sensors. All of the installs occured after hours at his place and yes they do void warranties and are not smog legal. In fact he is the "go to mechanic" for any SRT products, MO knows him and will refer you to him if you need any SRT product installations.

Yep, you can talk with the service rep. Ed Almeida, and he will hook you up with the HEAD mechanic Ed (same name), I don't have his last name. This info. will definately help you out.

FYI:

Ok guys here is the real deal! I am Ed Lujan from Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys Cali. Currently I work as the shop foreman, and boy do they keep me busy! I install SRT intakes and SC. I have never installed any Area 51 kits. I think that was just a misunderstanding or miscommunication, but anyway. They are there own company. Anyone who purchases an intake or sc are refered to me if they live in my area. I can install mo's stage 2 sc kit in one weekend. I have been working for lexus since day one and have worked as a toyota tech 5 years before that. 16 years of experience. Mo trusts me 100% to do his installs. Currently mo and I are working on getting the HFI kit certified through the state of california, then we will do the same with the sc kits. Of course this is a constant work in progress and very expensive for mo. But, if an aftermarket part is c.a.r.b. certified, then lexus cannot void your warranty.

If I can ever be of assistance to anyone, please feel free to PM me or e-mail me at work. I have helped and became good friends with many clublexus members.
