Default Headers goin on soon..got a few questions...

I have some Toyomoto headers sittin in my garage back at home and I'm gonna put them on in about 2 weeks. I hear that im guaranteed a CEL upon install?? is that true?..if so what is the best O2 simulator to get..also is the O2 sim hard to install?..i just dont want a CEL on my dash 24/7..any help would be awesome thanks!

yes u will get a check engine light!

I had the toyomoto headers on for about a year but it was so raspy I had to take it off. I wish I still had some sound clips. GL with the installl

I wouldnt go with an o2 sim, even though it works. It hides a few codes, other than the o2 sensors. Like your knock sensor, for one

I will be going this route with my HP racing headers.

You will need to do it to both post cat sensors. The ones past the cats. No need to do it for the pre cat sensors.

The o2 simulator will not throw a code for the knock sensor, along with the rear o2 sensor.

yea i think taco is right..i dont see how the O2 sensors have anything to do with the knock sensors..unless you are pushin boost i dont think you will EVER (or should ever) have a problem with the knock sensor..
