Default Power Steering Pump

New to the forum, but hoping to get some help from some fellow Lexus IS people.

Anyways, I have a 2002 IS 300 with about 110k miles on it. Just had my timing belt and all drive belts replaced about 6 months ago. Anyways, my power steering is starting to make a real loud whining sound.....most noticeably during cold starts.

Well, I took it over to Toyota yesterday and they said it is a problem with my power steering pump and that it needs to be replaced. They quoted me at $415 for the pump plus 2 hours of labor. With that being said, I have trouble believing that it's 2 hours of labor. As well I have also seen remanufactured pumps for half the price.

Hoping to get some input if anybody has had the same problem or if there is another fix. Also, how difficult the labor is if I chose to do it myself.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
