Has Lexus offered any help or anyone attempted class action over the center console scratching issue on the first gen IS300? It's covered in that thin layer of rubberized coating that scratches super easily and most owners are aware of the issue. I know Apple just settled a big lawsuit over the scratching of the ipods and IS300 owners could certainly use a new console to replace theirs from the obvious flaw in the design of the rubberized coating that scratches of the console.

I have this problem and its EXTREMELY ANNOYING! mine is all scratched up, mainly from me putting a window shade up in the front window..what should we do about this? ide love a new dashboard!
