Big rims around here = danger. Our roads are in pretty bad shape and bigger rims is like asking for it if you plan to drive during the winter. I'm on the stocker 17"s & I'm already slaloming around the plethora of holes, but sometimes the holes are unavoidable and bigger rims + deep hole = bent rim & shreded tire.
I'm looking into powder coating myself to give the illusion.

Nice newer car and welcome. As for the intake on the 1gen IS300, they all burn out the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). I had 4 buddies this happened to and the dealer wanted to deny warranty work. The MAF sensor is not cheap either and makes the car run and shift rough. I removed my intake and used the K & N drop in and loved it. I just wanted to help and save you money and hardships.
