I love the way they look, but I cant stop starring at the graphite gray wheels on all the IS350's. I might just paint mine some day

Thanks. I got 2003 model TEIN CS's w/EDFC. Ride quality is close to stock... A little stiffer and slightly more bouncy but not overly uncomfortable. There are times when I wish the spring rates were a little more aggressive though. Overall, I am very happy with my setup being that this is my daily driver.

Soon to be installed 10mm front and 20mm rear spacers. I can't afford rims at the moment so the spacers will have to hold me over for now...

Since this pic, I have removed the clear bumper lenses and gone with blacked out lenses. I didn't like the look of the clears because I already have smoked head and tail lenses so the clear lenses were TOO clear. The color shades didn't match right.

By the way, were you talking to me...?

Aloha

Thanks for the input Stevo, I'm in the market for some new suspension. I just hate that wheel gap Are you able to adjust the camber with coilovers your riding on right now?

Sorry for the late reply. No camber adjustment on Koni/Bilstein with H&R/Eibach ProKit. These 2 different setups are the best for stock suspension with a 1-1.5" drop. Will have finger gap, but not to much with 18's.

Coilovers are unpredictable on ride quality. I read somewhere. Probably on www.my.IS or www.isfanatics.com(Im on both forums).

~If your into drag; street; drift or course racing. Then coilovers is your best bet.
~If you looking for something subtle, but not stock. Struts setup or shock/spring setup is your friend.
~If you looking for stock ride quality. Then dont change anything on your suspension.

Just my .02 cents

No. My coilovers allow me to adjust ride height and damping force only. This is true for most coilovers. The car itself has factory camber and toe adjustments that allow for some degree of adjustment. Your alignment shop knows this and they will get the car into factory specs. The drop I have on the rear of my car now is the lowest I could've gone while still maintaining the highest factory recommended camber setting of -1.6 degrees. The lower you go, the more negative your camber will be. I am not sure if anyone makes a good camber kit for our cars yet but I know there is a really good set of rear lower control arms you can get. They are designed specifically for the IS300 and were tested thoroughly too. Kinda pricey, around 400-500 bucks but well worth it if you are into auto crossing or plan on going really low. Hope this helps...

Aloha

Here's a link to the control arms thread and you can buy them directly from FIG's Engineering through the my.is site.

Ill probably go with coilovers since I do want to go as low as possible. Done some looking around and will probably end up going with tien flex coilovers since they are in my budget.

post pics of all your dropped IS's
