i will not put anything wider than 225 on stock 17x7 rims, if you put too wide tires on a narrow rim, it just mess up the handling (sidewall too flex)

i've seen up to a 245 on the stockies, but would never recommend it.

the answer all depends on ur intensions....... but 225 would be the max i wouldnt go any higher no need!!!
