Stock IS300, ruined front tires from ball joint
So I just did an oil change on my girlfriend's 2002 IS300 and noticed that both front tires have deep slices all the way to the steel belts. The slices are at the inside of the tread area and it looks like they are somehow rubbing on the upper ball joint bolt. Everything is stock; ride height, suspension, 215/45/17 tires and wheels...Without some major flex of the spindle going on, how could they even be rubbing? Please help before her car eats up another two tires!

i had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago and my front tire had deep slices and the steel belts were also visible.. i just recently bought new tires and am replacing some ball joint parts to hopefully save me from eating up more tires.. please help if anyone has any ideas or thoughts
