Default rear diff..redline?

what do you guys use for the rear diff? can i use redline gear oil in there?

what oil to use in the rear Diff?
whats the drain and refill capacity?

Take a look at Redline 75w90 for the rear diff, 2 bottles should be fine.

however you'll want to determine if your rear diff has an LSD or not - if so check the manual (which I'll probably be doing soon since mine is probably due and has an LSD) to see if an LSD additive is required.

little bit of searching online - if you have an LSD then you need to add LSD additive before adding the new fluid.

per their website it sounds like you would want to use their additive:

their 75w90... can't tell.... it doesn't specifically state it's needed but does say this:

"Helps with lock-up on weak limited-slip differentials-compatible with Red Line Limited Slip Friction Modifier for tuning slippage"

So I'm not sure why they would say it's compatible with their LSD additive but then say the oil itself "helps with lock-up on weaK LSD's"
