Labor???
I just got a 2001 black IS and I have decided to add some mods, now im under the impression that everything must be installed by lexus. I am planning on purchassing a visage body kit, a touring style rear wing(both which need to be painted), clear trunk lights, greddy evo exhaust, ebiach lowering springs , and an undercar neon light. I have no automotive background (I do webdesign) so can anyone tell me around how much these mods would cost to be installed at a local lexus dealer. Responses would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Aftermarket mods do not need to be installed by the dealer. You won't gain any advantage getting it installed by the dealer. In fact, the cost will probably be higher.
Find a good speed shop to do the work.

I agree w/Masta. A lot of the bolt on stuff - intake, exhaust, sway bars you can do it yourself (DIY). I did mine.
Simply because you have aftermarket parts does not automatically void your warranty. The part that is replaced obviously is no longer covered, but the entire vehicle warranty should be unaffected.
I was in my dealership on Friday to get the undercarriage tray replaced and my service mgr. asked where my turbo was. I said if I installed one...I feared he would not honor my warranty. He assured me that my warranty would be valid. He said he couldn't void the warranty simply because of the existence of aftermarket parts.
Check w/your dealership to see how "mod friendly" they are.
BTW I got a lot of my aftermarket TRD parts through my Lexus dealership and plan on getting more TRD parts through them in the future.
