I have a question for owners of the lexus is300 1st gens. I'm in the middle of buying c/f hood. I would like input on which companies you have delt with to buy your hood from. Fitments issues, did everything line up with your new c/f hood, were there any problems with fitment at all? How about the hood latches did you have to make custom hood pins cause I dont want to use hood pins at all..

Not sure if you getting a crazy CF hood or a stock looking one, but if your getting one that looks OEM then I would go with the DGM Famous Carbon Fiber Hood. This hood while a little more expensive is a perfect fit and you do not have to use hood pins.

One of my friends has this hood and he is very happy with it. I to am going to buy one at the beginning of next summer. Good luck with your purchase.
