Is there anyone out there that has ever ACTUALLY mounted a set of 20 inch wheels with tires on a IS300. I have talked to quite a few people who say that it can't be done, but they have never actually tried it!!!! How can 19's fit and 20's not. I have never actually seen an IS with 20's. But I sure would like to roll one. Let me know.

wel lI have not seen it done either but have heard stories about how ppl have tried and it did not fit...it seems to be a width issue seeing as you cant readily find a 20x8 wheel I guess and or a 20x8.5 cause after that you will start rubbin on the inside and not be able to turn.. this is the only thing I can see being the big issue... if you roll your fenders I think hieght wise it could be able to fit.... but that is just me... I am not the wheel expert on IS300's

I have 18's and like to have something other then DUCT Tape for a tire.. like you would have to have for 20's

i havnt seen or heard of any 20s on an is, although itd look SICK. 19's can fit without rubbing (even when lowered and 4 people in the car, or so im told.Go Here. ). I can only assume that it is possible to have 20's because the wheel wells are already big enough to support them without widening (my buddies mom's S class merc had to have the wells widened when they got the brabus 19's), so i can GUESS (again, i have nothing to back this up) that 20's MABYE could fit. youd most likely have to get em widend, and as the above poster said, i like having a little meat on my wheels, so id get a larger tire than what youd have to keep to make sure the speedomoter is still calibrated. id just go get it recalibrated.

you can probably hold 19s in the front and 20s at the rear...

Dazz has supposedly done one with 20's in the rear and 19 in the front I have done several with 19x9 rear and 19x8 front HRE with a 2-1/2 inch lip in the back also i did one with 19x9-1/2 volk av3's BAD 275/35/19 in the rear. www.wheelsboutique.com
