Cool superchargers

just had my TTE s/c fitted to my is200 at the TTE factory in Cologne,some news from the heart of TTE............
They have just taken delivery of a US spec is300 and are due to start development of a S/C for it

That's great news! How do you like the TTE setup? Was it worth it?

well its goto be run in for 1000km.......mmmmmmmmm,but first impresions are v-good,not sure what boost its running i will be getting a guage fitted soon as i can find one(anyone know one)its now running at 210bhp 0-60 times down to 8 seconds,even running it in at less than 5000rpm its quik at 4000rpm you can be running at 92mph in 6th gear put your foot down and by 4400rpm you have hit 110mph.......the kit looks awesome would post pics but i need a digi cam,so have to wait awhile........when its run in i'll let you know how it is.......its just so much more responsive........absolutley a dream to drive now

0 to 60 times down to just under 8 secs,its pulls,and pulls,if it starts to spin in first ,you just have to back of if you wanna save your tires ,it'll chirp the tyres in second and thired when you nail it,been looking at APEXI and BLITZ guages and god does it whistle at 5000rpm onwards

i worked it out to 9986austD but i got it tax free so add about 15% ,you thinking of getting it now,you would be able to fit it your self,it comes with Very detailed instructions

nah it's too expensive for me... my budget is around $7000 AUD..

Just asking coz a custom S/C here costs $9000 also but with around 45-50% increase in power.

Anyways it's a really nice setup you have there and the pictures don't do it any justice. Get a digi cam man!
You got the TE37's on yet?

nope not got them fitted yet,waiting for the centre caps,and ive gotto buy tyres,but there aint a rush cos winters setting in and i dont want to put them on now till march time,im garaging the mota soon anyways,spoke to a firm in the UK that wants to try out a new ECU that they have dveloped to replace the factory one but work better wih the TTE supercharger,also looking at a larger intercooler...........
