I'm new on this site and hope to gain a lot from this site. anyways, i just bought a 2002 IS300 and need help selecting an Cold air intake and Exhaust. I want an exhaust that sounds good on an A/T and that dosen't sound like an rice rocket.

It is absolutely impossible to make an IS300 sound like a rice rocket. An Inline-6 wont sound like a 4 from an exhaust, dont worry. Once you start messing with the headers and Y pipe, thats when you need to KNOW what you're getting into.

I'd suggest an HKS Hiper if you like a deep roaring sound. Not too LOUD but far from quiet. They are quite expensive too. MagnaFlow sounds great on the IS but wont give you any power gains (but its very affordable) Depends on what you're looking for

It did but they both work. I just switched over from there today. The site has gone really downhill b/c of the sanctuary for non-Lexus owners who post off topic rambling posts and attack other members. Its a community where you have to watch what you type. Not user friendly, only attack friendly.
