Pics of my IS (new to this car)
Nothing radically different, though I have not seen these 'old school' wheels on any other IS Some say they are hit or miss, but I love anything that is easy to clean! Maybe one day I'll polish the lips.
After HEAVILY modding my last car (even switching front ends!) I decided to not mod this one. That went out the window the first weekend, but I still want to keep the mods light (for now). So all I have are the wheels/tires, eibach pro-kit, joe-z intake w/drop in, hardwired valentine 1, clear front corners, amber bulbs in the citylights, tint and the fogs w/o lights. I say I'm done for now, but I think the REAL key to that is staying away from all IS300 forums!
I could help with getting the rear clear bumper lenses in I tried from under the car, could barely reach the nut, and even via the tailight opening...no dice....there's got to be an easier way...or even a fast way to remove the bumper itself???
I also want to get spacers for the rears. I only ran H/R's since they're hubcentric but on the last car it was a matter of getting longer wheel bolts. Since this car runs studs that have to be replaced, I'm guessing its a lot more involved. 5mm is really all I want on the rears and I've read sometimes you can run these w/o changing out the studs? (Dang and I just said I was done for now!)
Anyway comments and criticism are very welcome!
Looking forward to some Lexus gatherings/events.

I'd never have paired those wheels with an IS, but I think it looks pretty good
Hope you can make it out to some of our NC meets. We have one up in the mountains past Asheville at Deal's Gap / Tail of the Dragon Memorial day weekend. Click the link in my signature for details or www.lexusdragon.com

Thanks guys
Definitely not as harsh as the folks on my.is
Looking forward to any NC meets. I'm keeping an eye on my schedule for the Deals Gap run too, but dont know at the moment. I actually miss the VW scene where we 'were' pretty active in Charlotte, and usually flashed/waved/gave the thumbs up when we passed other members on the roads here. Hope the lexus scene is even closely similar. All the modded lexii ( ) I've seen and waved to usually dont look or pay attention.

Thanks for all the comments/compliments. I've got a few more ideas but mostly doing the smaller things for now. A lot of my thoughts are concepts that came to life on my last car that I want to adapt to this one, but too many silly issues (lines are diff, bolt pattern of wheels, etc )
Another more recent pic after the suspension has settled a bit:

I am in the midst of shopping for a IS300.
Definitely been checking out all the nice rides on here.
Yours is definitely clean and nice and adds a different flavor to the IS.
great job!!!
